Our family ’s love for classic British cars turned from a hobby to their livelihood. British Auto Specialists is a family-run auto shop dedicated to repairing and maintaining British cars. The company was started in Okotoks in the late eighties but eventually moved to Calgary in the late nineties. Our father was a skilled mechanic and lover of British Automobiles, when he discovered the business was for sale he bought it. British Auto Specialists has remained in the family ever since and has now carried over to the younger generation, our passion, commitment, and family values have remained an integral part of our business.
As demand for Jay’s services grew, he invested in diagnostic equipment for new British cars, including Jaguar and Land Rover, and soon expanded to include BMW and Mini. Whatever the mechanical service or repair you need, we have you covered. Our goal is to keep your vehicle looking great and operating reliably. We keep everything in-house in order to offer top-quality work.
In 2007 Kirk also joined the family business. After attending Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) as an automotive technician, he is now the proud recipient of the Dean’s award.
